Destination Parry Sound and time for a new farmstay!
After 5 hours busdrive i arrived in Parry Sound. Morgan my ne hostmother picked me up.
She and her husband Chris have a nice horsestable. They are living in a new built pretty house, with her 2 cute cats, 2 crazy lovely dogs and 25 big Horses. Next door lives Chris parents, which are so lovely and nice!
Chris and hier parents coming from Switzerland! So they also are able to speak german (what was for the first a bit unusual to me ^^)
The parents have over 100 cows, grow a few of them for getting meat and a few chickens and the Bordercolli dog Bella.
The place, they are living is gorgeous!!! I gave the landscape 4 stars **** :) we have rocks, a big lake in front of the outdoor arena and huuuuge space for the horse fields!
Often you hear the kojotes whining! They are many! And at day the deers comming close to the barn. Here are living seebirds and wild goos as well.
I'am quite exidet!
Still i'am missing Collingwood, Paul and Linda and the staff.
Morgan has an another job as well. So she is quite busy, well organized and have lot of ruels for to do something. Actualy rules for every movement! Yes, more ore less she is very strict.
I'am working here more disciplined, but i guess it is ok and i can handle it.
They both have no kids. Maybe to much work.
Chris had teached me, when i had my first ride. He is an good teacher and you can learn many things from him! I'am impressed! He does event riding for country cross.
My first day was wonderful! The morning chorse i did together with Tonya, a girl which borde her horse here. Had lunch and a little nice german chatt with Chris parents and rode a horse "Desi". That was pretty exhausting for me and i didn't feel that i have done a pretty good job on here :/ I'am a bit frustrated about that! I hope i get a chance to show, that i can ride better that this!
Soon they expect a baby from the brood mare and i'am hopping that i can watch the birth!!
The animals are intresting and cute: The both biiiiig fishes are sooo funny. They hiding, when they see somebody new XD. The one year old dog girl Sasha is crazy and can not stay still for one sec! ( i love her) Buddy a terrier hase to stay tie everywhere the most of the time and you have to be careful (not pet to much)
Bowser cat is normaly ^^ But one year old cat Floyd is curios and soooooo funny, because he want to jump and see every tiny detail! XD
All together they get along well to eachother, it is lovely to see :)
I hope i'am doing a good job and will not be frustrated oder something, but wishing more that i have a good month (long time)

A couple days went by.
My day starts at 8.30 (which is for a barn realy late) than i doing chorse, have 2 hours lunch break, doing chors again (take care for the animals/muck out/feeding)
Sometimes in the afternoon i'am riding Desi (which works much better from time to time)
They are riding not in a dressage style, more like jumpers. It is a nice way to ride horses and new for me!
At 18.00 i feeding the horses and than we letting the 25 Horses inside (we just have to call them and they comming from alone, even nowing exactly their own spots in stall's!!! Incredible! )
The next 10 day's Chris gonna visit their Family in Swiss, so I'am alone here with Morgan. Sometimes Weaverly and Tonya the girls comming to help out!

This day i did a wonderful walk behind the hils. It was over 20 degrees! One border told me, even in this forest you can meet black bears ans moose sometimes! She had a black bear in her own garage one time :D
I was lisining to this song and this goes to all MY FRIENDS outside! You have not left me alone, when i was close to give up!! I'am so grateful that you told me to stay in Canada!
One week has passed exactly!
I love the property! Very beautyful. The work is sometimes very exhausting and hard. But i feel ok to do this. Chris Parents Renate and Peter are like a kind of grandparents for me :) I love them!
All border and ridingstudents are friendly and nice! I think i do a good job for Morgan and she ist most of the time satisfied. So lets wait till Chris is back from Swizerland.

Yes easy, cool, nice. Everything araound me, but SHE. My Boss / Hostmum...
Its realy hart and exhausting, to follow all her crtic and rules she has.
I'am excited how the time gonna be with ne german vollunteer.
